Lazio defender Diego Novaretti confesses it’s “irritating” to see Roma on top of the table and sees Juventus “on the way down.”
The Giallorossi have a perfect record after seven games, including a 2-0 victory in the Rome Derby.
“It is irritating and I don’t like seeing Roma up there one little bit,” Novaretti told Il Tempo newspaper.
“I’ve been a Lazio fan since I was a child, when my cousin was given a Juan Sebastian Veron jersey.
“Lazio can finish in the top two positions. We are a strong side, complete in every department. Are we better than Juve? In my view they are on the way down.”
