Kaka dreamed of San Siro return

Ricky Kaka confessed he had “spent all day thinking of the moment” he’d step on to the field at San Siro.

He returned from a month out to play as a substitute in the 1-0 victory over Udinese, his first time in this stadium with a Milan jersey since May 2009.

“It was a great feeling and difficult to explain,” he told Milan Channel.

“I spent all day thinking of the moment I’d come on. I will hold a fond memory of my Milan comeback.

“It was crucial to win today, as slowly the injured players are recovering and the team is getting stronger. This side can do well right to the end.

“I was out for a month and now lack match fitness, so it’s difficult to say how long it’ll take me to find my form.

“It is nice to know the fans expect something wonderful from you and to hear the chants from the crowd.”

While Kaka made his return after four years, fellow Brazilian Gabriel had his Serie A debut at the age of 21.

“Gabriel did very well and he performed a very important save on Antonio Di Natale,” continued Ricky.

“It isn’t easy to make your Milan debut at San Siro, but he has a great future ahead of him. I am one of the oldest in the squad now and will try to help the team any way I can, showing what Milan mean to me.”

Gomez targets Italian return

Reports in the Italian Press claim that Alejandro Gomez could leave Metalist Kharkiv and join Fiorentina.

The Argentine playmaker left Catania over the summer for the Ukrainian club, but has failed to settle in Eastern European.

As such, a transfer back to Serie A could be an option, and Sport Mediaset claim that the Viola would be interested in the 25-year-old.

“I will speak with my agent,” Gomez told the television station. “If in January or July we get some offers, then we’ll listen.”
